Good ole Greshamstock

Yes, we're still doing it! Although, this year I managed not to take any picture of the event itself. Just the part where Rog caught a frog. But you know how it goes. Brian drinks a lot. We make fun of Brian. Brian drives the John Deere lawn mower and the kids ride in the back. People get hurt. The sheriff drives by A LOT. We sit around and talk about what we did at Greshamstock's past.

And we can't forget the first annual text-splooging of those who could not make it. You know who you are because you got splooged. Losers.

Hey, I took a picture of the water tower just to prove we were there. Most of these pictures were taking the morning after while we played a the park with Eli.

Jude and Sadie stayed in GI with grandma and grandma, so that was really nice. Eli doesn't require much chasing. That was quite relaxing. Ahhhhh.

Trophy!

Second place at the races on August 7th. That's where you can find him on Friday nights. We need a cheering section to come support him. Our cheer: "Stand and peddle! Stand and peddle!"

If he would stand and peddle - and keep peddling (you don't coast and you don't brake in BMX) he might turn 2nd place into 1st. We are still proud, though!

Bear hair!

This is what happens when your child proclaims he would like to "let his hair grow out like a girl." He's been working on his "look" all summer. Have fun with this haircut, grandma!

Honey, I killed the dog. Again.

A nightly occurrence at the Jaeger's. This is how she begs.

Yard pinball anyone?

If you call it pinball, they will play. This has been the outside sport since about mid-July. The neighbors were cleaning out the garage and gave us this old croquet set. We don't know how to play. We just make it up as we go. The only rule: don't hit your brother over the head with the mallets.

Still growing, but no fruit

Ok. So maybe we aren't growing the great pumpkin. Maybe we aren't growing pumpkins at all. Just pumpkin leaves. No fruit yet. What's up with that? Maybe the birds and bees are broken.

August 17. Still, no pumpkins.

August 4. No pumpkins yet.
