Practically a big boy

Jude had his 6-month check-up today and the doctor confirmed, yes, he is a big boy. Weight is 16 lbs 4 oz (40th %) and length is 28" (90th %). Tall like his big brother, and becoming a little leaner. He had to have 3 shots this time. He didn't even feel the 1st one, but cried for the next two. He calmed down right away when mommy picked him up. Then he went right to sleep when we got home. He isn't crawling or sitting yet, but he is trying. He gets up on all fours and lunges forward. There's no place he can't get to in the livingroom. We really have to keep on big brother to keep his big boy toys away from Jude. The 2 boys love to be together. Jude laughs at almost anything Eli does and Eli loves the audience. The pics I'm posting were taken Monday on Jude's actual 6-month birthday. Jude is so serious in these, mostly because he's wondering why mommy is laying on the floor with that camera again.

Check out Jude's bathrobe. It was Eli's but he never wore it. Looks like it's too small for Jude too. It's more like a "shorty" robe, so I tried to watch the angle. Jude wasn't wearing his diaper yet!
